SCC Becomes One of China's First Group of "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" Pilot Enterprises

  On December 27, 2010, the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China released the list of the first group of "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" pilot enterprises. As a representative of electronic information and communication enterprises, SCC was successfully selected. SCC has become one of China's first group of "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" pilot enterprises. This marks that the achievements made by SCC in clean production, energy-saving and emission-reduction have been highly recognized by the government, and its practice and experience will be promoted throughout the country. 


　　In 2010, in accordance with the requirements of the Notice on the Work of Organizing the Establishment of "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" Enterprises issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology, the regions and central enterprises organized the recommendation of some enterprises to be selected for establishing "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" pilot enterprises. On the basis of relevant organizations and experts' careful assessment of the enterprises to be selected, the three ministries finally determined the first group of pilot enterprises. SCC is successfully selected as one of China's first group of "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" pilot enterprises as it has made notable progress in terms of clean production, energy-saving, consumption reduction, and management innovation. In accordance with the requirements for the work of establishing "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" enterprises, a pilot enterprise shall, through the efforts of three years, reach the advanced level of the industry in terms of product structure, output efficiency, resource conservation, and environmental protection,  strive to realize the recycling and "zero" emission of waste water, research the domestic leading level in the discharge of "three wastes", and finally become a "Resource-Saving and Environmentally-Friendly" demonstration enterprise.
