On the morning of November 7, 2010 "SCC Cup" National Model Aeroplane Open and Remote Controlled Helicopter Fancy 3DX Competition in China Area, the title sponsor of which was SCC, was held on the north bank of F1 rowing field in Shenzhen Bay. The top players of model airplanes from 16 Chinese cities as well as Italy, Thailand, Canada, Hungary and other countries took part in the competition.

National Model Aeroplane Open is China's largest model aeroplane competition of mass participation with the greatest influence; it has been held in Shenzhen for five consecutive sessions. In this competition, the world's most popular Remote Controlled Helicopter Fancy 3DX Competition was introduced, which attracted a large number of domestic and international top players of model airplanes to take part in the competition.
