On the evening of September 27, the Singing Contest of the Builders Migrating to Shenzhen for Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Nanshan District, which was organized by Nanshan District Federation of Trade Unions, was held in Shekou Theater. SCC's "Choir of Sounds of Nature" once again took part in the Contest and won the championship, thus creating the best result since its establishment.
At that evening, the Choir of Sounds of Nature came on the stage as the third team, and sang two songs: "A Folk Song to the Party" and "Heavenly Road". The passionate conductor, the excellent leading singer and the chorus of nature sounds were blended into one harmonious whole. Accompanied by beautifulmelodies of the piano, they sang the two difficult songs with theirfull, hearty and pleasurable feelings, winning applause from the judges and the audience again and again. As later released in the contest result, the Choir of Sounds of Nature brought its potential into full play, defeated its competitors with its overall strength, and won the championship, thus creating the best result since its establishment.
The eight chorus teams which participated in the contest in that evening were the excellent choirs which were selected from the preliminary contests organized by the sub-districts of Nanshan District; some of the chorus teams were senior choirs with a history of seven years. It has been less than three months since the establishment of SCC's Choir of Sounds of Nature. In the preliminary contest organized by Shahe Sub-district on September 16, SCC's Choir of Sounds of Nature won the first place, was recognized by the judges and the audience of Shahe Sub-district, and was designated as the only representative chorus team by Shahe Sub-district. Previously, on August 20, SCC's Choir of Sounds of Nature participated in the final of special performance organized by the Working Committee of the Departments under the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee during the 1st Shenzhen Choir Festival and won the Silver Award, which was the first time that SCC's Choir of Sounds of Nature participated in a contest.
