Quality Control Activities of SCC Wins Municipal-level Commendation

Report from our correspondent (Reporter Yang Qingzhi) On the morning of September 1, the 5th Shenzhen Municipal Quality Control Circles (QCC) Outstanding Achievement Exhibition Conference, which was jointly organized by five organizations including Shenzhen Association for Quality and Shenzhen Federation of Trade Unions, was held in the Citizen Center. The conference announced, the decision on commending the advanced units and individuals who made outstanding achievements in quality control in 2010. SCC won several honors due to its outstanding achievements made in quality control activities.


At the exhibition conference, six enterprises, including SCC, Shenzhen Airport, and Shenzhen Skyworth, were selected as Shenzhen Municipal Quality Control Circles Activity Excellent Enterprises”. As released in the selection contest of 2010 Shenzhen "Welfare Lottery Cup" Excellent QCC Achievements, the project of "Reducing the Rejection Rate of Hole Damage" submitted by "The Master" -- QCC of SCC won the third prize; three projects including "Reducing the Average Rejection Rate", "Improvement of Rejection of Lamination II Foreign Matter" and "Reducing the Rejection Rate of Cuts in the Process", which were respectively submitted by "Cuts-reducing 005", "Handling with Utmost Care" and "Hunters Group", got the winning prize. In addition, three production processes, including Factory I product inspection of the Quality Department, Factory I masking plating and Factory II lamination I, won the title of "Shenzhen's Quality-trustworthy Teams"; Du Yufang and Sun Xin won the title of "Excellent Leader", Chen Guohua and Sun Xiang won the title of "Excellent Promoter", and Li Wensheng won the title of "Excellent Troubleshooter". 


　　Shenzhen Municipal Quality Control Circles (QCC) Outstanding Achievement Exhibition Conference aims to promote enterprises in Shenzhen to exchange quality control experience and jointly improve the quality control level. In recent years, SCC has attached great importance to quality control, and established a sound quality management system. SCC's participation in the selection of municipal-level quality control projects is the first time that SCC demonstrated its achievements in the work related to quality control. In the process of exchanging quality control experience with other enterprises, SCC has identified its own inadequacies and learned more knowledge and experience, which will inspire SCCto make innovations in the future work and strive for better results.
