On the afternoon of August 20, 2008, accompanied by the relevant leaders of the Development and Reform Bureau, Science and Technology Information Bureau, Personnel Bureau, Land and House Property Bureau, Planning Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, and Intellectual Property Office of Shenzhen Municipality as well as the Government of Longgang District, Xu Qin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Shenzhen City, conducted investigation in the Longgang Branch Company of SCC. The leaders of SCC had a discussion meeting with Executive Vice Mayor Xu Qin and his party in the No. 1 meeting room of the R & D Office Building.

　　At the discussion meeting, You Lei, General Manager of SCC, with the theme of "Developing New Core Business and Realizing Rapid Expansion", made a detailed introduction of SCC's basic situation and future development strategies and initiatives, raised the issues needing the support of the government departments in the future development of SCC, and requested the leaders of Shenzhen City to help resolve these issues. After having heard the report on the work of SCC, Executive Vice Mayor Xu Qin and the leaders of the municipal government departments had in-depth discussions on the issues related to the future development of SCC, and made a satisfactory reply. Finally, Executive Vice Mayor Xu Qin fully recognized the achievements made in the process of the leapfrog development of SCC. He said that Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government as well as the relevant leaders of the departments and districts would, as always, fully support the development of excellent enterprises like SCC, and the departments would  earnestly help enterprises to solve the problems encountered in the development. He hoped that the central enterprises would take root in Shenzhen, make rapid development, grow bigger, and become stronger.
