Besides the awarding ceremony for employees with over ten years of work experience at SCC, the business reports and the speech contests, SCC also worked with the third party to upgrade the fun sports games and the garden tours, and for the first time, held the events well received by the young, such as Gourmet Street, Electronic Sports, etc. With the 9 major events closely linked, the SCC employees could deeply feel the humanistic care, the innovative and open cultural atmosphere provided by the company, which was greatly favored by the employees.
For the sake of more participation, individual garden tours were newly arranged this year besides the fun sports meetings for teams, which attracted many employees and their family members. The participants exchanged the "Flowers" earned by playing the games, for little gifts and fine foods, with their team spirits tested in the 7 major team events and their courage witnessed in the 7 individual events, from which everyone could relieve their stress and wholly enjoy themselves.
The Culture Day this year involved more middle and high-level managers of SCC, they took part in the fun sports meetings, served as flag-bearers and also the contestants; they formed their own teams to compete with the employees in the electronic sports. Among them, the highlight was nothing else but Gourmet Street. The six booths, "Uncle Yang's Snack Shop" , "Mr. Zhou's Sugar Water Shop" , "Mr. King's Hot-spicy" , "Mr. Gong's Dessert Workshop" , "Master Kong's Steak House" and "Maria's Caravan" embodied the surnames of the leaderships together with the features of the foods, and the managers were all dressed in white T-shirts and coffee-colored aprons, acted as "shopkeepers" and made the foods at the scene, which attracted a great deal of attention from the buyers acted by the employees. Beverages, trays of fruits and free Wong Lo Kat for quenching thirst; spicy noodles, fruit pancakes and ham sausages for appeasing hunger; free cotton candy and popcorn, with other discounted fine foods, all of which climaxed the Culture Day and was jokingly dubbed "historically strongest backstage" by the employees.

After General Manager Yang Zhicheng reported the first half year's business performance, 12 employees from the respective departments and plants successively shared their stories about their teams' struggling experiences.Yang Daoshuang's "Running Love!" Everyone at the scene was moved by the story of striving for kids' happiness; post-95 Cai Chunmei showed a young employee's image of struggling and confidence; Director Ma Guoquan reflected on the responsibility of a grass-roots manager by sharing his own experiences, which made every cadre ruminate...
Shennan's first "King of Glory" electronic sports finals were then held, and as the last event on the Culture Day, the contest was another successful attempt at young employees' preference during cultural activities, such that many praised it "beyond expectations", "SCC's down-to-earth corporate culture" or "too open-ended". Everyone responded actively to the recruitment notice, with a total of 76 teams, including 370 people, enrolled in. After 99 games, the contest finals eventually came on the exact Culture Day. The participants and the audience, some of who might have no understanding of the games, gathered at the activity center on the canteen's 3rd floor, and all the Culture Day activities came to a successful end in the shouts of support.
July 1 is Shennan's Culture Day, and another cultural event in addition to the annual banquet. By planning and organizing various cultural activities, SCC can help its employees relieve their working pressure, enhance the cohesion of the team members and their sense of belonging, and spread the company's down-to-earth, open-ended, innovative and progressive enterprising spirit.
