On January 4, the 2021 SCC Science and Technology Award Conference was solemnly held. The attendees included Yang Zhicheng, chairman of SCC Association for Science and Technology, Zhou Jinqun, executive vice chairman of SCC Association for Science and Technology, Wang Chengyong, Zhang Lihua and Yang Zhiqin, vice chairmen of SCC Association for Science and Technology, as well as more than 220 award-winning representatives and scientific and technological workers from Shenzhen, Nantong and Wuxi.

At the session of summary and commendation, secretary-general Miao Hua delivered the report on the work in 2021. In the report, he reviewed the work of SCC Association for Science and Technology in the past five years, and envisioned the future technology development of SCC. Afterwards, Yang Zhicheng, Zhou Jinqun, Wang Chengyong, Zhang Lihua, Yang Zhiqin and others presented awards to the 65 representatives of the award winners at the Shenzhen and Wuxi venues. Deng Xianyou delivered a speech on behalf of the award winning team of the first Prize of Excellence in the Award for Scientific and Technological Progress. Finally, several technical experts made wonderful sharing at the conference.

At the session of general election, the participating scientific and technological workers elected the members of the 2nd Standing Committee of SCC Association for Science and Technology on the spot. Yang Zhicheng delivered a speech on behalf of the new standing committee. In his speech, he stressed SCC's technological pioneering strategy and how to realize the technological pioneering strategy.

So far, SCC Association for Science and Technology has entered a new chapter of development. It will stay true to its original aspiration, continue to focus on the strategic goal of "innovation-driven development", and continuously promote SCC’s scientific and technological work to achieve new breakthroughs.
