On August 20th, 16 Universiade volunteers from SCC Volunteer Team offered a full day of volunteer service at the Grand Skylight U-station and the Huaqiang North Maoye U-station.

At 8: 30 a.m., 16 volunteers from SCC arrived at the station on time. Adhering to the service concept of "Delivering Happiness & Starting from the Heart", they provided peripheral service support for the U-station: some collected blessings for Universiade, and others advised the traffic at the crowded intersections. Some offered inquiry services for pedestrians while others advised citizens to practice green travel etc. “Thank you for your blessing. Here’s a handkerchief to you, so as to reduce the use of tissues, and it is more low-carbon and environment-friendly.” After the citizens left messages on the blessing wall, Wu Jianhang, a volunteer from the Purchasing Department, especially gave them small gifts. It is known that, on the Service Day, SCC specially prepared 300 handkerchiefs and related low-carbon environment-friendly publicity boards to advocate low-carbon life to passers-by. Although the weather was hot and the volunteer work was very hard, the SCC volunteers insisted on the services and received unanimous praises. Some of the citizens actively requested to take photos with them. Some people specially returned to the scene of the activity to continue the unfinished blessing. "If I don't come back, I will feel sorry."

　　It is reported that since its establishment, the SCC Volunteer Team has received positive responses from the vast number of SCC employees. Since this year, the Volunteer Team has organized volunteers to participate in various voluntary activities, especially after the opening of the Universiade, and also organized dozens of volunteers to provide volunteer services at each U-station in batches.
