On July 30, 2008, SCC won the honorary title of Shenzhen Work-related Injury Prevention Advanced Unit in 2007. This shows that, under the guidance of "people-oriented thinking that safety comes first", SCC has implemented in earnest the policy of "taking a holistic approach to intensifying prevention and control", and ensured the safety of employees' production and life.

　　The commendation was organized by the Labor and Social Security Bureau and the Administration of Work Safety of Shenzhen Municipality. The award-winning organizations were finally selected in accordance with the following procedures: the insured enterprise made a self-recommendation; the government department made a recommendation; the employees of the enterprise made a recommendation; the media publicized the shortlist of the organizations to be awarded; and the review committee re-examined the list ofthe organizations to be awarded.
