The 2017 industry base strengthening meeting, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, September 12, 2017, and Xin Guobin, Deputy Minister of the Ministryof Industry and Information Technology, and Zhou Ji, President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering attended the event. SCC showed the implementation effects and its experience in the project.

　　An important strategic task of the "Made in China 2025" is to enhance the capacity of industrial base, and the industrial base strengthening project is one of the five major ones which support the construction of a manufacturing power. During the meeting, the participants visited the achievement exhibition of the project. As a representative of the twenty excellent enterprises, SCC shared at the meeting the implementation effects and its experience in the project. The project has made breakthroughs in five key technologies and can currently realize all-process industrialization, high-yield and low-cost production, which not only can be applied to the next generation of mobile terminal products, but also can be widely used in the 100G-or-more optical module and the 5G mobile communication base station.
