Longgang Factory Area Organizes Donation for Disaster Relief

　On May 15, under the organization of the relevant department, Longgang factory area to be completed soon also actively organized donation for earthquake relief. The donation activity was imbued with the music The Devotion of Love,The Heart of Gratitude, and A Loving Family. At 12: 00 noon, all employees of Longgang factory area, the employees of the construction company, and the suppliers gathered together in front of the comprehensive building to donate and show their love for the compatriots afflicted by the earthquake in Sichuan. They made generous donations, and their actions on the scene of the donation were heart-warming.


      At the request of some night-shift employees, on May 16, the donation activity was continued. The crowd surged forward on the scene of donation.Many employees who had donated before took part in the donation activity again. The employees were deeply affected by the hardship of the people in the disaster-stricken area as if they had experienced it themselves; they thought that they had a bounden duty to make donations. Until Saturday morning on May 17, there were still employees who went to the relevant departments and hoped to remit their "team funds" through the Company to the disaster-stricken area, so as to contribute more to the people afflicted by the disaster. Although it was during the weekend holiday, a continuous stream of employees made calls to ask about the donation or came to the scene of donation in person.


      Nearly half of the employees in Longgang factory area were newly recruited. Some of them had just joined the workforce and had few savings. When they knew that they could make a donation in the form of a commissioned check, they said that they were willing tomake a donation bydeducting the amount donated from their wages of next month. Although they were not well-off, they were willing to donate some money to the people afflicted by the disaster.

 

      Among the people who donated money, the cooks, the female employees of the cleaning company, the scrap recyclers, and the employees of the construction company also joined the ranks of SCC employees who donated money. They contributed their share for the people afflicted by the disaster to eliminate dangers and rebuild their homes.
